Jackie Bennett has worked in theatre, television and magazines. Her books include Convent Girls (ITV/Virago), Wild About the Garden (Channel 4), The Writer’s Garden (Frances Lincoln) and Shakespeare’s Gardens for the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust in 2016.

In 2017 she set out with photographer Richard Hanson to capture the most remote gardens on the British Isles, from Scilly to Orkney (Island Gardens 2018). Her latest book is The Artist’s Garden 2019 White Lion Publishing.
