Amanda Patton is a landscape and garden designer based within Parham Park in West Sussex. She founded Amanda Patton Landscape + Garden Design at the beginning of 2000 as a natural progression from 20 or so years as a professional illustrator which followed a degree in Textile Design (nurturing an appreciation of colour and texture). Initially working as an archaeological illustrator she soon started illustrating gardening books, as her interest in the subject developed. The creation of beauty is an underlying philosophy in her work, which is inspired by nature, light, seasons and colour. A keen painter and photographer, she explores these themes in her free time and was shortlisted in the Landscape Photographer of the Year 2020.
