Maggie Haines started Tuppenny Barn in 2005, in Southbourne near Chichester, after serving in the Intelligence Corps for 21 years, followed by 5 years in security consultancy. Maggie wanted to pursue a project with sustainablitity at its heart with an aim to teach children about the environment and grow food for the local community organically. Tuppenny Barn is now an accredited education charity and major provider of fruit and vegetables for the local community.
